When I sit down to write, I often find myself drawing from many facets to create a cohesive theme. From experience, I’ve discovered novel construction and delivery takes far more concentrated effort than just sticking to a genre and relying on traditional plot elements.
Emotional conveyance is an excellent attribute an author must learn to develop mindful plot structure; something that I learned to do by applying the magic found in fantasy.
In the Novel, 'In Between Two: A Novel of Duality' the application of fantasy elements allows for impeccable description of spiritual/mystical concepts from the rigid/ analytical structuring found within science fiction.
With a little bit of mindfulness, an author can take a hard-to-discuss/hard-to-capture concept often found in science-fiction and make it relatable to a more personal context within the readers active imagination.
Within my own writing, I aim to target the contrasting duality of subjects, allowing the reader to arrive at their own meaningful message gleamed from text.
