Constructing plots that matter.

I spent nearly the last five years of my life constructing Part I of a Trilogy. If I was to summarize my experience for those seeking to either become authors, or those wanting to find a good read, it many layers of appraisal.

I am not speaking towards actual profitability of course, but the capacity of the work you are currently engaging in. Regardless of how skilled a writer you may be, or your command of certain aspect’s, it is important to find that each line given contains value appealing to the general context of the plot, or making characters created a more personal, relatable access-point.

Nuances in intellectual copyright aside, it’s become increasingly more-difficult creating pieces that have capacity providing value to what we like to call “well-read readers”. There is no question there’s a book made for just about everything; each piece containing it’s own unique message–energy.

By drawing from different Storytelling tools, we can create pieces that appeal to a larger audience, with messages that stand up to the harsh scrutiny of critics.

Please take a moment to listen to my radio interview below, where I discuss the advantage of Mystical Realism as a literary device to help create enjoyable experiences from cover to cover.
